What time do you post?

The time that you post to Instagram will determine how many people will see your post in their feed, and a result, how much engagement your post will receive. 

The key is to post when people are known to be on their phones throughout the day. There are 4 key times to post:

  • During the early morning work commute, between 730am – 9am
  • Lunchtime, between 12-2pm
  • During the evening work commute, between 5-7pm
  • When people are going to bed, between 9-11pm

Here are a few more tips for posting at the right time:

  • Don’t be afraid to experiment with the time you post. If you have a business account with Instagram, you should be able to see when your followers are most active with their analytics tool.
  • Save the important posts for weekdays
