Wedding date: 23rd September 2017
Theme of wedding: Old World, Elegant, Romantic
Down on bended knee..
After many missed opportunities during our 2016 trip to Europe, Matt was finally able to pop the question during a viewing of Phantom of the Opera at London’s Westend.
We had a Yarra Valley wedding in mind but also wanted to focus to be on the venue, not just the winery. Then we found Chateau Yering. The stunning Victorian Mansion took us back to the Theatre in London where it all began, and after looking at only one other venue, we knew straight away it had to be Chateau Yering!
What we fell in love with?
"The whole experience with Chateau Yering was very relaxed thanks to the help of the events coordinator, Krista La Greca. She was understanding, approachable and always there to help if we had any questions. The day could not have run any smoother and we thank Krista and the team at Yering!
The various options we had for the ceremony were all so amazing!
Due to the weather, we went for our second choice of being indoors. Looking back, we wouldn’t have had it any other way as the ceremony space was perfect for us. The feel of the reception room, the views of the mountains and the lovely bridal sweet we were able to enjoy on the night of our wedding truly made this experience one of the best of our lives!"
Our tip for couples knee deep in wedding planning...
The day is about the two of you, do what you want to do.
- Make sure you take time to share little moments throughout the day/evening with your partner as this is your big day!
- If things don’t go as planned, just remember what the day is about and that in just a few hours you get to marry your best friend!
The Best Bits..
"The best part of our day was to finally be with one another after the ceremony, relaxing, taking photos and having lots of fun!"
